San Clemente Woodworking
The company website for San Clemente Woodworking, with a Learn more page where visitors can rotate a staircase, hover a part, and see what that piece is actually called.
Overview
I built the public site so customers can see the work and understand a staircase without already knowing the vocabulary. I had sat in those sales conversations, so I knew which names were confusing.
The home page covers custom stairs, railings, and millwork for Southern California homes, plus photos, reviews, and contact.
Learn more
The Learn more page puts a 3D staircase in the browser. Hover a part to see the name. Drag to rotate. Zoom in. The same page covers railing styles, balusters, treads, wood and finish, and a glossary.
I modeled the staircase work in SketchUp. That model is what the interactive view uses.
